Green Earth Naturally, LLC is headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia, USA, and was formed in May 2008. We have three divisions that focus on products and solutions for natural and sustainable remediation for soil, water, and air contamination.

  • EarthCleanz is for the development and distribution of products for animal health, odor control, manure digestion, and oil spill remediation fields.
  • EarthNet is a full-service environmental consulting and remediation division. Services include above ground and underground storage tank cleanup using proprietary technologies and methods as well as environmental site assessments, groundwater monitoring, mold and asbestos testing, and a variety of other services.
  • Clean Air Technologies is for the development of fuel additives that improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions, as well as investigate alternative energy solutions.

Diesel Fuel Release

A fuel company in Virginia had a failure of a buried diesel fuel transfer line resulting in release of over 1,300 gallons of diesel fuel, with significant impacts to soil and groundwater. PetroClean was injected into the contaminated area to mobilize any soil-adsorbed diesel fuel and bioremediate any unrecoverable diesel fuel. Free-phase product rebound in the monitoring wells was not noted and continuously dropping dissolved-phase diesel levels indicate that the microbes contained in PetroClean are rapidly degrading residual levels of diesel fuel within the impacted zone.

Fuel Oil Release

The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ) has determined that PetroClean effectively bioremediates heating oil. For home heating oil tank releases within the Commonwealth of Virginia, the VDEQ has authorized the use of PetroClean to bioremediate any residual impact to soils not removed as part of heating oil release remediation activities.

Gasoline Release

A fuel company located in Virginia had failure of an underground gasoline storage tank and because of the nature of the site, removal of contaminated soil was not possible. PetroSurf was initially injected around the periphery of the site and removed to recover as much free-phase product as possible. After monitoring, the site was determined to be effectively bioremediated and was then closed by the VDEQ.
